Hi Arabella and Alex,
I loved your project on hot springs, not only because it was well researched and presented but also because I love hot springs. The very best is a hot spring in winter when there is snow on the ground and it is so so cold but the water is so so warm. Is that what it was like at the hot springs that you went to in Japan? A friend of mine was at Liard Hotsprings in the north of Canada in the middle of winter once. She heard a loud noise beside her and turned to look. Through the steam, she saw a giant moose in the springs beside her!

in Japan most of the hot springs we went to were indoors meaning there wasn’t snow around us 🙁
